Abstract

In a plastic container manufactured by melting blow molding a heated and molten parison extruded from an extruder, a mouthand/or a specified part of a bodyhas a thicker thickness than the body proper. One or more thick parts of the bodyare continuously or discontinuously formed over part or all a peripheral, height or helical direction of the body of the container. The container enjoys enhanced rigidity, appearance and functionality even when the thickness of its body is considerably reduced.
