Abstract

Described is a display device () with a printed circuit board (), with at least one light source () and with a single-segment or multi-segment display () which is connected by optical waveguides () to the light sources () which are preferably SMD-LEDs. The display device () has a block () for holding the optical waveguides () firmly in position, with a front surface associated with the single-segment or multi-segment display () and a base surface associated with the light sources (). The optical waveguides () are in the form of light fingers () which extend through the block (). The printed circuit board () can include any angle of between 0 and ≧90° with the multi-segment display ().
