Abstract
The invention relates to an injection valve in which the movable valve parts and the valve seat () form the electrodes of a capacitor that is connected in an electric circuit, the capacity of said capacitor changing with the valve lift of the closing element. According to the invention, the valve seat () is configured in the form of an electrically conductive nozzle body () that is connected to the electric circuit and the closing element is configured in the form of a valve needle () that is connected to the electric circuit by its end surface opposite the valve seat ().
