An arrangement for changing bobbins in sewing and embroidery machines is arranged on the cover () on the lower arm of the sewing machine (). With a push-button () and a slide (), the bobbin case () with the bobbin () lying therein is released from the hook base () and made accessible to outside of the sewing machine () when the cover () is opened.
