Machine dishwashing detergents which contain builder(s), surfactant(s), and optionally further ingredients, which comprise 0.1 to 50% by weight of one or more nonionic surfactants which, at a concentration of 0.01 g/l in distilled water, have a diffusion coefficient of at least 9·10ms.
