Abstract

A multi-polarisation dielectric resonator antenna () having three mutually orthogonal feeds () displaying Cpoint group symmetry is disclosed. The antenna () may be operated so as to determine the polarisation of any incoming signal, since the three feeds () have polarisations at 120 degrees to each other. Furthermore, a plurality of mult dielectric resonator antennas () may be formed into a composite dielectric resonator antenna with beamsteering, direction feeding and polarisation detection capability over a full 4π streradians.
