Abstract
Compositions and methods are provided for evaluating the progress of disease induced by infection withspp. Specifically, the invention provides a mouse lung disease model of infection withspp. bacteria. The compositions and methods of the invention find use in evaluating the efficacy of vaccines and other therapeutic or prophylactic treatments of-induced disease.
