Abstract
A catalyst coatingfor decomposing ozone in the air is applied to an outer surface of cooling pipesand radiating finsof a radiator. A peel sensoris provided on the catalyst coatingof the radiatorto detect a loss (remaining amount) of the catalyst coating. The position of detection of the peel sensoris determined according to a temperature characteristic of the radiator, and a flow rate of the air passing through the radiator. The position of detection of the peel sensorcan be determined easily and appropriately, such that loss and deterioration of the catalyst coatingcan be detected with high precision.
