Abstract
A splicing tape () is provided having a base layer (), an adhesive layer () on the top of the base layer (), a first adhesive strip () and a second adhesive strip () on the bottom of the base layer (), and a two lines of separating portions (and) in the base layer (). A splicing tape () is also provided having a base layer (), a top adhesive () on the top of the base layer () with detackified portions (and), and a bottom adhesive () on the bottom of the base layer () with a detackified portion (), and first and second lines of separating portions (and) in the base layer (). The line of separating portions (or) can include perforations having a ratio of perforation length to space between perforations between a ratio of 4 to 6 and a ratio of 9 to 1.
