Abstract
An adapter device () is used in order to allow a projectile (), such as missile, to be launched from a standard launching tube (), without having to modify the latter. This device comprises an adapter tube () in which the projectile () is placed, a retaining ring () which is mounted on the end of the launching tube () and a hooking system () for securing the adapter tube () to the launching tube. The adapter tube () has a front portion () provided with grooves for guiding the folded fins of the projectile () and a rear portion provided with a bottom onto which is fixed a pulley () for returning an optical fiber () used for guiding the projectile ().
