Abstract

A quick attachment device for use in the repeated testing of diode light sources () includes a quick attachment module () having a fixed location with respect to a testing position () for the diodes (), and a mounting assembly () on which each diode () is mounted during testing. The quick attachment module () includes a quick disconnect fastener and two locating pins (and) for securing the mounting assembly () for testing, where the two locating pins (and) have a locational transition fit connection with the mounting assembly (). The mounting assembly () may further include a thermal-electric cooling device () for cooling the diode light sources () during testing.
