Abstract

The present provides a leakage detection circuit for an electric vehicle, and so on, capable of calculating a leakage resistance. The leakage detection circuit for an electric vehicle detects a current I(t) that flows in leakage resistances Rand Rwhen one leakage detection switch SWis closed at tand the other leakage detection switch SWis opened, and detects a current I(t) when the switch SWis opened at tand the switch SWis closed. In addition, the circuit detects voltages V(t, t) and V(t, t) of portions where these leakage detection resistances Rare connected. A combined value Rof the leakage resistances is calculated by a leakage calculator based on the following equation 34
