Abstract
A coaxial electrical connector includes an outer conductor () having a cylindrical fitting section () to fit onto the counter connector (), a dielectric () placed in the outer conductor () and a center conductor () which is held by the dielectric (). It further includes a cover section () to cover the other opened end of the cylindrical fitting section (), and a surrounding section () to surround the cable C, which is connected to the connecting section () of the center conductor. The cover section () and the surrounding section () are bent at a linking section (). The cover section () has a receiving section () on the inner surface which contacts with the tongue () of the dielectric (), in order to place at least a part of the tongue () therein.
