Abstract
A mold M for molding a metallic product including a fixed mold sectionand a movable mold section, wherein heating meansis provided in the fixed mold section and cooling meansis provided in the movable mold section, which means are controlled by a temperature control deviceso that any desired temperature is obtainable. Also, as the heating and the cooling of the mold are not repeated, but the fixed mold section is always heated and the movable mold section is always cooled, it is possible to shorten the cycle times.
