Abstract
The invention relates to a camshaft comprising a tubular shaft () and cams () which are radially disposed thereon. Said cams () respectively engage with the shaft in a perfect fit () and the free surface () of the shaft forms the base circle of the cams (), whereby the cams () are respectively engaged in pocket-like recesses of the shaft ().
