Complexes of the formula I,where M is an element of groups 6 to 10 of the Periodic Table of the Elements, preferably Ni, can be used for the polymerization and copolymerization of olefins, for example in suspension polymerisation processes, gas-phase polymerization processes, bulk polymerization processes or emulsion polymerization processes.
