Abstract

The present invention relates to an acetal of formulain which the symbols Rrepresent, independently or simultaneously, a linear or branched saturated or unsaturated Cto Chydrocarbon group; or the two Rare bonded together to form a saturated ring having 5 to 7 atoms and including the oxygen atoms to which the Rgroups are bonded, this ring being possibly substituted by methyl or ethyl groups; and the wavy line indicates that the double bond in position 4 has a configuration of the type (Z) or (E) or a mixture of the two configurations. The invention relates also to the use of such compounds as perfuming or flavoring ingredients, as well as the perfumed or flavored articles or perfuming or flavoring compositions containing such compounds.
