Abstract
A CPU () generates a real recording address y from y=n(x−m)+m, where absolute time x is obtained from an ATIP decoder (). Recording density scale factor is denoted by n and recording start address is denoted by m. Using the real recording address y, an encoder () performs encoding and data recording is performed.
