Abstract

The present invention is directed to an ultraviolet absorber composition which is formed by melt-mixing a compound (A) represented by formula (I):and a resin stabilizer (B) selected from the group consisting of a phenolic antioxidant (b-1), a phosphorus-containing antioxidant (b-2), a hindered amine stabilizer (b-3), and an ultraviolet absorber (b-4) other than the compound (A), at a mass ratio (A)/(B) of 95/5 to 50/50. The composition has excellent compatibility with synthetic resins and provides a stabilized synthetic resin molding.
