Abstract

The present invention relates to an injector device for injecting thermoplastic material. The device comprises a dispenser () feeding a transit passage () of an injector nozzle () with thermoplastic material, said passage opening out into the mold cavity () and being capable of being closed by a sliding needle (). The needle () presents an extender () which passes through the dispenser () into ambient air via guide means () in order to co-operate with controlled means () for moving the needle (). Sealing is provided between the extender () and the guide means () by the thermoplastic material itself, which material leaks between them from the dispenser () and accumulates in an annular groove () in one of them. The invention is applicable to injection molding devices.
