Abstract

A ticket dispensing apparatusfor dispensing tickets in response to an event comprising a vertically extending housing or structureserving to accommodate advertising displays and a lower mouth sectionresembling an open bird's beak inside view with two dispensing slotsandbeing provided in the throat regionof the open mouth. The first slotserves to issue a prize ticketassociated with a game of chance related to an event or to a promotion of a particular product or brand of products or to promotional activity of a related store. The second dispensing slotserves to dispense a lottery ticket, which has been specifically purchased by the customer as part of his purchases at the cash till. Furthermore, the apparatus could be reduced to a single dispensing slotif it is intended only for promotional activities in accordance with the invention.
