Abstract

A devicefor evaporating volatile liquids comprises a casingand a bottlecontaining the volatile liquid. the devicecontains within it a heater which is heated by connecting the device into a wall socket by means of an electric plug The device comprises container-receiving meanswhich interact with engagement meansformed on the neck of the bottle. Release of the bottle is effected by means of a buttonwhich causes deformation of the container-receiving meansleading to release of the bottle. The buttonis located on the same face of the deviceas the electric plug. This means that the button is not accessible whilst the device is connected to a wall socket. This prevents appropriate removal of the bottlefrom the casingwhilst the deviceis connected to an electric current.
