Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for improving heat transfer in a circular plate heat exchanger (), as well as a heat transfer plate to be used therein. The invention is based on changing the flow conditions in the radial direction in such a way that the heat transfer remains even. The ridges between the grooves of the heat transfer plates () may be, in their shape, evolvent graphs or the like.
