Abstract
A charging method for a battery pack with each of the at least two series-connected cells being supplied with an effective charging current (I), in a charging cycle () over a charging period, and being supplied with a lower effective refresh current. (I), in an at least occasional subsequent refresh cycle () over a refresh charging cycle (). The refresh cycle () follows after a period (K) in a number (M) of charging cycles ().
