Abstract
A microwave oven comprises a magnetron for delivering microwave power to a cavity of the oven, a rotatable phase modular () an electrical resistance heating element () and a rotatable fan () for forcing air over the resistance heating element () and though the cavity. The phase modulator () and the fan () are mounted on a common driveshaft (). A matchplate () is mounted in the cavity.
