Abstract
The device for massaging a lower leg comprises a base pad () arranged in an area of the sole and a bladder () arranged in the region of the lower leg. A tubular connection is provided between the inner spaces of the base pad () and of the bladder (). A frame () comprising a base part () and at least one side part () projects upward from the tubular connection. The frame is mountable inside a shoe with the bladder () being fastened to the side part and the bladder () being positioned on the frame () in such a manner that it comes to lie above the perforating vein in the ankle area. A pressure is exerted by the bladder () onto the leg through the body weight applied to the base pad () when the foot is loaded.
