Abstract
An electrical connector () mounted on a printed circuit board includes an insulative housing (), a pair of shells () and a number of terminals () received in the housing. The housing comprises a mating portion () defining a pair of parallel sidewalls extending longitudinally. Each shell () comprises a flat portion () which provides a plurality of spaced latches () bent inwardly from a top thereof for retaining the shell on the housing. The separately formed shells can provide good EMI protection and be manufactured easily and cheaply.
