Abstract
The regulating device, represented by its escapement wheel (), is kept horizontal by being supported by a platform () secured to a counterweight () rotatably mounted about an arbour A, pivoting in a carriage () rotatably mounted about an arbour Aperpendicular to the arbour A. Escapement wheel 15 meshes with a driving wheel () secured to arbour Aand forming the output of a first differential () having at its inputs a kinematic corrective chain () and a kinematic drive chain, itself connected to the output of a second differential () having at its inputs the barrel wheel () and another kinematic corrective chain () meshing with a wheel () secured to the carriage (). The device can also act on an automatic winding block ().
