Abstract

A carrier system () and a method for the mechanical connection of interchangeable supplementary interior equipment, in particular a central console for application in a motor vehicle and for providing an electrical/electronic interface () for connection to the on-board electrical supply and/or on-board electronics of the motor vehicle, includes a carrier frame (), attachment devices () with means against unauthorized release, whereby the essentially L-shaped carrier system () is arranged suspended in the region between the outer rear seats above the central seat surface and is releasably connected by a rear attachment device () and a lower attachment device () to the motor vehicle and the supplementary interior equipment by means of the upper attachment device () to the carrier system ().
