A rod body () is formed of magnetostrictive material and includes one end portion () fixed, and a piston () is fixed to the other end portion () of the rod body (). The piston () is slidably disposed within a cylinder () in which there is formed a pump chamber (). A suction port () for sucking lubricating oil into the pump chamber () is formed in the cylinder (), while a suction valve () for preventing the lubricating oil from flowing out from the suction port () is disposed in the suction port (). In the cylinder (), there is disposed a nozzle () which communicates with the pump chamber () and has a sectional area smaller than the lubricating oil passage sectional area of the suction valve (). There is disposed a coil () outside the rod body () and, to the coil (), there is connected a control device () for controlling the supply of a current to be supplied to the coil ().
