Abstract

The present formulation is an analgesic, anesthetic and anti-pruritic formulation with from about 10.0 wt % to about 75.0 wt % Emu oil; from about 10.0 wt % to about 33.0 wt % benzyl alcohol; from about 0.25 wt % to about 5.0 wt % allantoin; from about 0.1 wt % to about 5.0 wt % methylparaben; from about 0.1 wt % to about 2.0 wt % propylparaben; and from about 0.5 wt % to about 4.0 wt % of lidocaine, wherein the formulation is adapted to inhibit microbial activity fromor combinations thereof, and wherein the lidocaine relieves pain on the epidermis of humans and animals of skin irritations, wounds, or burns.
