Abstract

An ATM media cassette includes a self-locking arrangement for a media directing guide. The guide is automatically placed in a locked condition during removal of the cassette from an ATM. The guide is automatically unlocked during reinsertion of the cassette into the ATM. The self-locking arrangement enables the guide to be locked during transport.
