Abstract
A compound represented by the following formula (I):and a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing the compound as a coupler. In formula (I), R represents an alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl or heterocyclic group; L is —CO— or —SO—; and X is a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being split-off upon coupling with an oxidized product of a developing agent selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, an aryloxy group, an alkoxy group, an arylthio group, an alkylthio group, an acyloxy group, a sulfonamide group, and an acylamino group whose bonding site is the nitrogen atom.
