Biaxially oriented polypropylene films (BOPP) having at least one layer of a propylene polymer containing at least 0.8% by weight of ethylene and, optionally, one or more C-Cα-olefins, or a propylene polymer composition containing at least 0.8% by weight of one or more comonomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene and C-Cα-olefins, and having
