Abstract
A support element for a heddle frame is formed by profiled pieces (') at each end that consist of a polymeric material. The profiled pieces (′) are connected to one another at each side by at least two side pieces (′) made of a metallic material. At the inside cavity of the body formed by the profiled pieces (′) and the side pieces (′) there is a separate core () arranged, and the inner surfaces of the side pieces (′) are provided with a layer of insulating material.
