Abstract
A speaker box mounting structure includes a panel provided with a plurality of speaker mounting bosses, and a speaker box provided with a plurality of lugs. An engaging projection projects from each of the bosses. The engaging projection has an enlarged engagement head which is expansively and contractively deformable. An annular elastic damper is retained by each of the lugs. The elastic dampers is fitted over the engaging projection between each boss and the enlarged engagement head for fixing the speaker box to the panel.
