Abstract

In a liquid crystal panelprovided with first and second substratesandbonded by a sealant, alignment layersandfor covering electrodesA andA, respectively, are formed up to the regions overlapping the regions for forming up to. Accordingly, since there is no space between the alignmentorand the sealant, a low twist domain does not occur in a liquid crystal. Therefore, the vicinity of the inner periphery of the sealant can also be effectively used as the region for displaying images.
