Abstract

A peg for a stringed instrument is provided, The peg has a main body; a pair of bearingserected at two sides of the main body so as to oppose each other, a worm gearwhich is rotatably supported in a large diameter holeand a small diameter holewhich has a knobon one end portion, and a winding shaftwhich is connected to the worm gearvia a worm wheel. The bearingis formed of a material having spring-like properties and thus has increased elastic limit and avoids deformation.
