Abstract

In a hand-guided electrical toolwith a housingthat has a receiving collarembodied on it and with a guard hoodthat can be attached to the receiving collarand has a clamping strap, which can move freely around the receiving collarin a first position and rests snugly against the receiving collarin a second position, a secure connection between the guard hoodand the housingis achieved by virtue of the fact that the receiving collarhas at least one protrusion, which protrudes beyond the second area in the radial direction away from the spindle axle, and between the protrusionand the housing, there is a distance h, which approximately corresponds to the width b of the clamping strap, and by virtue of the fact that that the clamping straphas at least one indentationso that the first diameter dof the openingof the clamping strapin the vicinity of the indentationis greater than the second diameter din the remaining region, wherein the first diameter dis of such a size that the clamping strapcan be moved over the protrusionand the second diameter dis of such a size that the clamping strapcannot be moved over the protrusion
