Abstract
A transmission frame and a telecommunications device () having a transmission frame () are proposed, which are used to transmit short messages () in a telecommunications network (), in particular in a radiotelecommunications network. By means of the transmission frame (), especially flexible transmission of short messages () in the telecommunications network () is possible. At least two data fields () are provided. Data of a short message () are stored in memory in the data fields (). Data in a first data format are stored in a first data field (), and data in a second data format, different from the first data format, are stored in a second data field ().
