Abstract
The invention relates to a method for operating an electrophotographic printing device (). A multilevel character generator () is used in said printing device (). Correction parameters (KKK) are determined for light coding values (1, 2 and 3) such that a high-quality printed image can he obtained also in the instance of modified printing conditions.
