Abstract
An inertial reference system for an aircraft includes two accelerometers and a gyrometer. One accelerometer is located at a front portion of the aircraft, the other is located at a rear portion of the aircraft. The gyrometer is located at a center portion of the aircraft. The system also includes a control computer linked to the accelerometers and to the gyrometer. The center portion can include the aircraft's center of gravity.
