Abstract
An antenna providing easy and effective mounting procedures onto a wireless device for mobile communications and highly reliable electrical connections. The antenna contains insulating resin-made corethat is generally formed into a rectangular parallelepiped, and metallic thin-plate antenna elementfrom which feeding terminalA and joint sectionsC are extended. Antenna elementis disposed on top surfaceF, side surfaceB, and bottom surfaceG of core. Antenna elementis then fixed to coreby caulking at caulking projectionsA formed on the top surface of core. Feeding terminalA is bent to have L-shaped tipB on side surfaceD; similarly, joint sectionsC are bent to have L-shaped tipsD on side surfacesC andE. These tips are bent at the same level according to the thickness of a wiring board to be soldered.
