Abstract

A method for producing a carboxyl group-containing rubber having good vulcanization characteristics and exhibiting good resistance to scorching, continuously and in good yield. A method for producing a dry rubber from a polyvinyl alcohol-containing latex of a carboxyl group-containing rubber by continuously carrying out coagulation, dewatering, washing and drying in a dewatering/drying apparatus of a screw extruder type, characterized in that a coagulating agent containing ammonium borate is used.
