Abstract
A convergence systemcomprises a dichroic prismfor splitting and/or recombining light beams, intermediate partsand a light modulatorfor every color beam. The intermediate partsare constructed such that the convergence system has an improved resistance for variations in environmental effects like temperature and humidity. The intermediate partsare constructed such that the convergence system has a high stability, a large degree of monolithicy and a high movement isotropy. When used in a projection display system, the projection display system has a high degree of color uniformity.
