Abstract
In a vehicle seat (), in particular an automobile seat, with a seat substructure (), a backrest structure (), a backrest () that is adapted for folding between at least one use position and a fold-flat position, and at least one fitting () which is secured with a first fitting member () to the backrest structure () and with a second fitting member () to the seat substructure (), a compensation spring () secured to the seat substructure is operatively connected to the backrest structure () by means of a movable linkage ().
