Abstract

The present invention refers to abacterial strain which new isolated and identified secD and/or secF gene(s) is/are genetically modified in a way that secretion of the bacterial strain is enhanced, the protein- and polynucleotide sequences of these genes, a plasmid containing at least one of these genes and the use of such a bacterial strain for production of a desired substance or in a reporter system.
