Abstract
An optical transmitter-receiver module has a light-emitting element for emitting transmission signal light and a light-receiving element for receiving reception signal light, and performs both transmission of the transmission signal light and reception of the reception signal light by means of a single-core optical fiber. A light-emitting devicehaving the light-emitting element is covered with an upper shield plateand a lower shield plateeach provided by a conductive metal plate while being held between the plates. Connection terminalsandof the upper shield plateand the lower shield plate, which are extended in a direction in which lead terminalsof the light-emitting deviceare extended, are connected to grounding terminals included in the lead terminals
