Abstract
A system and method for testing application program code within the presentation layer of an application server. A user interface is provided for entering data and triggering one or more actions to process the data; the data and/or actions are translated to a presentation layer format; results of the data and/or actions are received in a presentation layer format; and the entered data, actions and/or results are stored in the presentation layer format within a test script, the test script usable to test an instance of an application at the presentation layer of the application.
