Abstract
During G3FAX communication with an IP network, a FAX adaptercontrols a packet size data storagewith the use of a control signal, generated by a packet size controller, to adjust the packet size of FAX data sent from a G3FAXaccording to delay informationfrom the IP network. When sending data to the IP network, the adapterallows the size of a packet to be adjusted in response to the delay informationsent from the IP network, thus resolving a discrepancy in transfer speed.
